Join us on December 5th for the 8th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade! A magical evening where community members deck out their vehicles in festive lights and decorations, transforming Downtown Warrensburg into a shimmering winter wonderland. As the procession winds through town, families are invited to drop their letters to Santa in a special mailbox on the courthouse lawn, Santa himself arrives afterward to collect them! Take a festive photo with Santa and gather with loved ones for the enchanting lighting of the Courthouse Christmas tree, a moment sure to fill the evening with warmth and cheer.

Warrensburg Holiday Parade Guidelines*

TO ENSURE THE QUALITY AND SAFETY of the Holiday Parade, all units must comply with the following rules:

Please read these participation guidelines carefully. Sign and return with the parade registration.

NO FULL SANTA COSTUMES! We don’t want your float to land on the naughty list! Santa will conclude the parade as he rides through Holden Street wishing the community a happy holiday season.
For safety reason, NO ITEMS ARE TO BE THROWN (INCLUDING CANDY) to spectators. Candy may be distributed by hand to individuals at the curb.
No alcohol is allowed.
All entries (floats, walkers) must be lighted. Walkers must wear reflective and high visible clothing.
Open flames not permitted.
All animal units are responsible for their own clean-up on the parade route.
For every 10 children, 14 years of age and under, there needs to be 1 adult accompanying them throughout the start and finish of the parade
Please mark/label your float with your business or organization name.
Staging will take place in the UCM Multipurpose Parking Lot (enter from Warren Street).
