DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”143″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”2px”][vc_column_text]\nThe drawing above is just a representation of Bob Gaw’s artwork. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator style=”solid” padding_top=”32″ padding_bottom=”32″][vc_column_text css=””]The Love What’s Local committee\, comprised of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce\, Warrensburg Main Street\, the City of Warrensburg\, and the Warrensburg Convention and Visitor Bureau\, is excited to announce a unique opportunity for local businesses to be featured in a vibrant montage celebrating the spirit and growth of the Warrensburg community. \nThis project invites the first 150 local businesses to submit high-resolution photos of their storefronts\, business locations\, or branded representations to be included in a stunning visual representation of Warrensburg\, set to debut at the end of 2026 for purchase. \nThe montage\, created by local artist Bob Gaw (@bob.gaw on Instagram)\, will also showcase cherished local landmarks such as Old Drum\, the historic courthouse\, Lions Lake\, the University of Central Missouri (UCM)\, and the “Welcome to Warrensburg” sign—capturing the essence of what makes our community special. \nProject Details: \n\nCost: $150 per business. This cost also includes a print for each participating business.\nEligibility: The first 150 businesses to submit payment and materials will be accepted. The montage will feature businesses and structures located within the 64093 ZIP code.\n\nEligible Submissions Include: \n\nPhysical commercial storefronts.\nHistoric buildings and community centers.\nNon-residential structures that contribute to the character of our area.\nHome-based businesses\, which may submit a photo representing their business via logo. (Placement of business name and/or logo at the discretion of the artist)\n\nPrivate residential homes without a business affiliation will not be included. \nAdditional Notes\nThe artist reserves the right to make creative adjustments to submitted images\, including modifications if content is deemed inappropriate or not aligned with the project’s vision. We need your helping hands to make Warrensburg shine bright this season! \nResidents\, families\, community groups\, businesses\, churches and teenagers who need to perform service hours can seek out projects and implement them during this time. Love What’s Local will not be assigning specific projects\, but have planned two group clean-ups in town!\n– April 21st @ 4pm to clean the Enersys intersection on Young (meet at Fastenal)\n– April 25th @ 1pm-3pm in Downtown Warrensburg \nWhen posting photos to social media\, use the hashtag #CleanTheBurg to be featured on the Love What’s Local social media pages.
